Study of Pressure Measurement (Hb Accessory) Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-CELE-14030
This equipment is a specialized module designed to be
connected to an external Hydraulic Bench. Its primary purpose is to
allow students to study, compare, and gain practical insight into the operation
of different types of pressure measurement devices by subjecting them to
a common pressure source.
1. Key Components and Design
The apparatus is built around a pipeline with a known
pressure difference, providing a testing environment for the instruments.
- Test
Setup: Consists of a pipeline with a common manifold
(implied) where various pressure devices are fitted.
- Pressure
Creation: An Orifice is fitted in the pipeline
specifically to create a measurable pressure difference Delta P
within the line, which all devices can then be used to measure.
- Structure: The
whole set-up is arranged on a rigid structure painted with industrial
PU Paint.
- Connection: The
module connects to an external Hydraulic Bench using a flexible
pipe line for water circulation and flow control.
2. Pressure Measurement Devices Included
The specifications list four different types of devices,
allowing for comprehensive study.
|
Device Type |
Mechanism / Purpose |
Typical Application |
|
Single Wall Manometer |
Measures gauge pressure relative to atmospheric pressure. |
Simple pressure indication in tanks/pipes. |
|
Differential Manometer |
U-Tube Type. Measures the difference in
pressure Delta P between two points. |
Measuring pressure drop across orifices/bends. |
|
Sensitive Manometer |
Inclined Tube Type. Used for measuring very small
pressure differences with high precision. |
Low-velocity flow, sensitive laboratory measurements. |
|
Pressure Gauge |
Bourdon Type. Uses mechanical deflection of a
curved tube to indicate pressure. |
General high-range pressure indication. |
3. Purpose and Experiments
The primary goal is the comparative study and calibration of
measurement principles.
- Principle
Demonstration: Visually observe the operation and working
principle of each distinct pressure measurement device (hydrostatic vs.
mechanical).
- Pressure
Comparison: Compare the pressure readings from different
devices (e.g., U-tube manometer vs. Bourdon gauge) at the same point in
the pipeline.
- Hydrostatic
Law Verification: Use the manometers to reinforce the fundamental
principles of hydrostatics (pressure proportional to fluid column
height).
