Flow Channel Apparatus Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-CELE-14121
The Flow Channel Apparatus is
a versatile unit for studying open channel flows and visualizing flow
patterns around immersed bodies. It is an essential demonstrator for basic
fluid mechanics principles.
The central component is a clear
acrylic plastic open flow channel with a high depth-to-width ratio, ideal
for various experiments. Flow conditions are controlled by undershoot and
overshoot adjustable weirs at the inlet and exit, which regulate flow depth
and velocity. Water is conditioned via a stilling tank and nozzle to
ensure clean flow with minimum disturbance.
The flow rate is measured
volumetrically using the measuring tank of the hydraulic bench. A dedicated
dye injection system (dye reservoir and multiple needles) is supplied
for streamline pattern visualization. The apparatus also includes
various models, such as weirs and drag bodies (aerofoils, cylinders, ship
model), to facilitate a comprehensive range of experiments.
