Bernoullis Theorem Apparatus (Hb Accessory) Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-CELE-14023
This equipment is a specialized module designed to
demonstrate Bernoulli's theorem. It uses a transparent test section to
visualize fluid flow and measure pressure changes as the fluid velocity changes
through varying cross-sectional areas.
1. Key Components and Design
The apparatus is built for clear visualization and accurate
pressure measurement.
- Test
Section: Made of a single piece of Acrylic (transparent
material).
- It
features continuous convergent and divergent sections.
- Pressure
tapings are strategically provided at different locations in
both the convergent (accelerating flow) and divergent (decelerating flow)
sections.
- Pressure
Measurement:
- Piezometer
Tubes (P.U. Tubes) are connected to the tapings.
- Function:
These tubes measure the static head (pressure) at various
locations along the test section.
- Water
Supply Interface:
- The
entire set-up is designed to be connected to an external Hydraulic
Bench using a flexible pipeline, which provides the water circulation
and flow control.
- Inlet
Tank: 20 Liters capacity. All tanks are made of Stainless
Steel.
- Structure: The
entire setup is arranged on a rigid structure painted with industrial
PU Paint.
2. Purpose and Experiment
The primary experiment is to verify the conservation of
energy in fluid flow.
- Bernoulli's
Theorem Verification: Students measure the static head and
calculate the velocity head at multiple points along the test
section.
- Conservation
of Energy: The sum of the static head, velocity head, and
elevation head (the Total Head) is demonstrated to remain constant
throughout the flow, validating Bernoulli's principle.
- Visualization: The
transparent Acrylic section allows students to visually correlate changes
in cross-sectional area (and thus velocity) with changes in the static
pressure shown by the piezometer levels.
