Flow Visualization Channel Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-CELE-14130
The Flow
Visualization Channel is a bench top open channel unit designed to
conduct experiments related to open channel flows and to visually study streamline
patterns over and around various objects. It provides a valuable tool for
understanding potential flow and the transition between laminar and
turbulent flow regimes.
The core
apparatus is a clear acrylic flow channel with a bell mouth entry
to ensure minimal flow disturbances. Flow is supplied from a constant head
supply tank containing glass beads for stilling, and the water is
typically sourced from an external Hydraulic Bench. Flow velocity is
controlled by a membrane-type flow valve at the exit and measured
volumetrically by the hydraulic bench's measuring tank. Flow patterns are made
visible using a dye injection system with adjustable needle valves.
The channel accommodates a wide range of scaled models (weirs, airfoils,
cylinders, etc.) to investigate various flow phenomena.
