Pressure Gauge Calibrator Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-CELE-14122
The Pressure
Gauge Calibrator, often known as a Dead Weight Tester, is critical
equipment used to demonstrate the principle of direct calibration for
industrial Bourdon tube pressure gauges. Accurate pressure measurement
requires proper calibration, and this apparatus allows students to subject a
gauge to precisely known pressures for comparison and error analysis.
The
apparatus consists of a vertically mounted, precision machined leak proof
piston and cylinder assembly (made of stainless steel). The piston has a
platform to hold calibrated dead weights. The cylinder is connected to
the Bourdon gauge via leak proof valves. By placing different weights on the
piston, a known, calculable pressure is exerted on the fluid (water) beneath
the piston, which is then transmitted to the gauge. The indicated gauge reading
is compared directly to the calculated true pressure for calibration.
