This trainer combines a Steam Boiler Unit for
generating high-quality steam with an integrated Hot Water/Heating System
that uses the same boiler to demonstrate domestic heating principles.
1. Steam Boiler Unit (36 kW)
The boiler is a fully certified steam generator designed for
safe, automatic operation.

Type: Automatic electric boiler (36 kW rated output)
or a stage gas-oil burner (32 kW useful power).
- Safety
& Control:
- Controlled
by a three-probe electronic circuit for automatic feed pump and
fail-safe 'low water' protection.
- Fitted
with a Pressure Relief Valve and a Bourdon type pressure gauge
(0 to 20 bar).
- Performance
Metrics: Students can determine boiler evaporation capacity
and equivalent evaporation, and conduct boiler efficiency trials.
2. Hot Water & Heating System (Gas-Oil Option)
This configuration models a complete central heating system
utilizing the 32 kW gas-oil burner.
- Heat
Distribution: A three-ways electronic valve directs
heated water to two circuits:
- Domestic
Hot Water (DHW): Heats a 150 liter stainless steel hot water
tank with a double jacket.
- Central
Heating: Supplies a fin radiator (5 elements) where
temperature can be controlled via software (PID) or a room thermostat.
- Fuel
Flow Measurement: A gas-oil flow sensor measures
consumption from 0.4 to 4 kg per hour.
- Combustion
Analysis: A Combustion gases analyzer measures CO, CO2,
O2, air excess, temperature of the combustion fumes, and combustion
efficiency.

rated at 50 kW.
