Reciprocating Pump Apparatus Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India

Product Code : SCL-CELE-14193

Overview

The Reciprocating Pump Apparatus is designed to study the operating characteristics, performance curves, and efficiencies of a single-acting reciprocating pump. This pump type is particularly suitable where high delivery heads and low flow rates are required.

The pump assembly is mounted on a robust base plate and is designed for quick installation on the GFM 32 Basic Module Water Pumps. The universal drive motor required for pump operation is provided by the GFM 32 Universal Drive and Brake Unit.

The apparatus is equipped with electronic pressure sensors for measuring the intake and delivery pressures, enabling accurate determination of performance parameters. Flexible hoses with rapid-action couplings allow quick and easy connection or interchange of pumps.

When combined with the GFM 32 Drive and Base Modules, this unit provides a complete setup for performing practical experiments on the performance of reciprocating pumps, including determination of head, flow rate, power requirement, and efficiency.

Experiments

When combined with the GFM 32 Universal Drive and Brake Unit and GFM 32 Basic Module Water Pumps, the following experimental investigations can be performed:

  1. Recording of pump performance curves (Head vs. Flow Rate).
  2. Determination of the pump’s power requirement.
  3. Measurement of hydraulic power output.
  4. Calculation of the overall pump efficiency.
  5. Determination of the system characteristic curve and operating point of the pump.
