I. Overview and Purpose
This unit is designed for
the accurate measurement of depression (negative pressure or vacuum) in
fluid systems. The gauge reading directly provides the pressure measurement.
II. Apparatus Description
The apparatus is simple and
robust, consisting of an anodized aluminum structure that supports the
measurement instrument.
- Gauge It features a single Pressure-vacuum gauge calibrated to
measure pressures ranging from -1 bar (full vacuum) up to 0 bar
(atmospheric pressure).
- Connections The unit is equipped with two quick
connections on either side of the vacuum gauge. These connections allow
for the easy and secure attachment of reinforced flexible pipes.
- Water Supply The necessary water supply for operation
is typically provided by an external source, such as a Hydraulic Bench.
