Basic Hydrology Apparatus Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-CELE-14148
Description
The Basic Hydrology Apparatus is a
self-contained bench-top unit designed for the study of fundamental
hydrological principles. It features a large stainless-steel rectangular
tank with an adjustable tilting mechanism to simulate varying
catchment slopes. The tank is filled with a granular medium and equipped
with dual rainfall simulation systems comprising four spray nozzles
each, allowing controlled and realistic rainfall conditions.
Transparent upper walls provide clear
observation of flow patterns, while compartments at both ends and two central
wells enable detailed study of groundwater flow and interaction. A manometer
bank connected to twenty pressure tapping points measures the water table
profile accurately.
The apparatus allows comprehensive
experimentation in rainfall-runoff relationships, groundwater
movement, storm simulation, and well hydraulics, making it
ideal for educational and research applications.
