Sedimentation Studies Apparatus Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-CELE-14170
Overview
The Sedimentation Studies Apparatus is
designed to investigate and compare the sedimentation characteristics of
different suspensions under controlled laboratory conditions. The unit
enables detailed observation of the settling process and analysis of the
factors influencing sedimentation, such as particle size, concentration, and
flocculant use.
The apparatus consists of five transparent
glass sedimentation columns, each equipped with a graduated scale
for accurate measurement of sedimentation levels. The columns are illuminated
from behind using fluorescent lamps to enhance visibility of the settling
process. Suspensions are prepared in measuring cups, poured into removable
columns, and mounted vertically for testing.
This equipment is essential for environmental,
civil, and chemical engineering laboratories studying solid-liquid
separation processes and water treatment applications.
